To get a sense of what makes Salvatore Painting unique, I think
it’s important to know a little about me, Salvatore (or "Sal").
Most importantly, I love what I do. I started out studying illustration
at the Art Institute of Boston, then moved to California to study
animation. To support myself, I painted homes. I got very busy
painting mansions in Malibu: people loved my attention to detail,
the fact that by nature I’m a trustworthy perfectionist.
(For starters, I always show up and I always clean up.) The more
I did this work, the more I learned how it can actually be a tremendously
satisfying art. Over the years I’ve developed a particular
skill for really listening to clients and "seeing" what
they want. It’s interesting: once, I aspired to being an
animator. Now, I’m making a career out of bringing people’s
homes to life.
